DTU Space

DTU Space has extensive research and research-based advisory activities in the Arctic and Antarctica. The primary activities are found in the sections Geodynamics, Geodesy, Geomagnetism and Microwave and telemetry

DTU Space is part of international collaborations and missions under the auspices of the EU, ESA and NASA. Through satellite projects such as SWARM, Galileo, Ørsted and Sentinel, DTU Space contributes with the development of methods and technology as well as data and data interpretation to surveillance of icecaps, sea ice, water level changes, ocean currents, changes of the Earth's crust and Earth's magnetic field. A large part of the research takes place in the Arctic and Antarctica as an important contribution to monitoring climate change.
